Titanium EFW Pipe is made from commercially pure titanium (Grades 1–2) or alloyed grades (7, 12) through electric fusion welding. Tensile strength is generally between 240 MPa to 550 MPa; yield strength from 170 MPa to 450 MPa. Elongation rates are 15–30%. Low density (~4.5 g/cm³) and a natural oxide layer ensure corrosion resistance. Weld seams are carefully controlled to reduce heat-affected zones and are ultrasonically/radiographically inspected. Pipes are usually annealed and stress-relieved after welding to recapture mechanical properties, with a guarantee for dimensional accuracy, toughness, and fatigue resistance even in the weld area.
