Grade 12 Titanium Pipes have ~0.05% palladium, ~0.25% molybdenum, and minor levels of iron and oxygen. Tensile strength is approximately 550 MPa, yield strength ~480 MPa, and elongation ~20 %. Density is around 4.51 g/cm³. Characterized by resisting reducing acid stress corrosion and chloride pitting, they have integrity at low pH conditions. Their mechanical characteristics are similar to other commercially pure grades with the added corrosion advantages. Seamless or welded detail is thoroughly annealed to maintain mechanical and corrosion-safe characteristics.
