As an ASTM B338/B337 commercially pure titanium alloy standard, Grade 2 is characterized by robust corrosion resistance coupled with great weldability. Our pipes are made through welded or seamless processes, and we supply standard schedule and custom sizes. Our testing procedure is comprised of non-destructive testing, pickling, dimensional inspection, and certification. Grade 2 Titanium Pipes have a maximum of 0.3% oxygen and 0.25% iron. Tensile strength is 550 MPa, yield strength 480 MPa, with 20 % elongation. Density approximately 4.51 g/cm³. Slightly weaker than Grade 4, Grade 2 provides superior corrosion resistance in seawater, oxidizing acids, and chloride conditions. Non-magnetic, it shows good fatigue characteristics and also retains strength at high temperatures. Passivating naturally and weldable, it shows the same mechanical properties after fabrication and pickling operations.
