Tubing is of low density (~4.5 g/cm³), has good fatigue resistance, and is not magnetic. The naturally occurring oxide layer on the material provides excellent corrosion resistance in seawater, chlorides, and harsh acids, thus being suitable for harsh mechanical and chemical conditions.
