Copper-nickel pipes are usually made of 70% copper and 30% nickel; they may also include iron and manganese to improve physical properties as well. Copper-nickel pipes have excellent mechanical properties – they are quite strong, ductile, and resistant to corrosion; specifically in seawater conditions. The positive aspects of copper-nickel pipes include excellent corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity, anti-fouling, and low thermal expansion.
