Titanium ERW Pipe consists of commercially pure grades (ordinarily Grade 2 or 4), with tensile strengths of 550 MPa, yield strength approximately 480 MPa, and elongation ~20%. Its density is approximately 4.5 g/cm³. The ERW process creates seams with minimal heat-affected zones, and maintains the corrosion resistance and toughness of the base metal. Seam properties are maintained through ultrasonic welding machines, post-weld annealing, and pickling. This creates a low-distortion pipe with consistent wall thickness and consistent mechanical properties throughout the seam.
