Titanium Grade 10 Tubes are alloyed with 2.75% Cr and 1.9% Mn for improved creep strength. Tensile strength is usually 830 MPa, with yield strength of approximately 650 MPa. Elongation is 10–20%. The alloy exhibits high thermal stability and low weight (~4.5 g/cm³). It retains properties at high temperatures up to 550 °C. Its own oxide skin provides resistance to corrosion in chloride and acids. Weld seams are heat-treated after welding to reinstate creep and strength properties.
