Stainless Steel 304H is an austenitic alloy made up of roughly 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and 0.04–0.10% carbon, along with small amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. The higher carbon content compared to 304/304L boosts its strength at high temperatures and improves creep resistance. Typical mechanical properties feature a tensile strength ranging from 515–620 MPa and a yield strength around 205 MPa, along with good elongation and toughness.
