Stainless Steel 347/347H Seamless Tubing has 17-19% chromium, 9-13% nickel, and 1.0% niobium content, offering increased resistance to intergranular corrosion and thermal stability. Stainless Steel 347H contains more carbon than 347, which increases its strength at high temperatures. Mechanical properties have a tensile strength of 520 MPa for 347 and 550 MPa for 347H, with a yield strength of about 205 MPa and 240 MPa, respectively. These alloys provide superior oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength up to 900°C (1652°F) and are thus suitable for harsh environments.
