Titanium Boiler Tubing is generally manufactured using Grade 2 (commercially pure) or Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) alloys. Grade 2 provides tensile strength of about 550 MPa and yield strength of 480 MPa, with elongation of about 20%. Grade 5 has a higher strength, up to tensile strength of 950 MPa. Both grades have low density (~4.5 g/cm³) and superior corrosion resistance in seawater, acidic, and alkaline environmentsHeat resistance of titanium enables it to resist temperatures up to 550°C, and its lightweight nature is ideal for energy-efficient boiler systems.
