Liam Pipes & Tubes supplies Stainless Steel 304H EFW Pipes from Houston, USA, suitable for structural and pressure purposes at high temperatures. SS 304H, which is the high-carbon variant of SS 304, provides enhanced strength, creep resistance, and long-term thermal stability. Produced through Electric Fusion Welding (EFW), these pipes provide quality consistency, durability, and weld strength in big diameters. Our 304H EFW pipes are in accordance with ASTM A358 specifications and are used extensively in boiler piping, superheater tubes, and heat transfer systems at high pressure. Their heat-resistant properties against oxidation and mechanical properties render them compatible in extreme thermal conditions in industrial and power generation industries.
SS 304H consists of ~18–20% Cr, 8–11% Ni, and 0.04–0.10% carbon for strength against high-temperature creep. It provides tensile strength ~585 MPa, yield strength ~240 MPa, and ~40% elongation. These EFW pipes withstand scaling up to 870°C and retain strength upon long-term exposure to heat. EFW processing offers consistent weld fusion, suitable for large–diameter and heavy–wall piping. 304H offers weldability, corrosion resistance, and thermal performance, making it appropriate for heat transfer and pressure-bearing applications. Its increased carbon level improves the thermal system’s structural durability.
