SS 202 pipes have a yield strength of about 275 MPa and a tensile strength of 515–860 MPa. In mildly aggressive environments, they exhibit fair corrosion resistance and good toughness at both high and low temperatures. They are appropriate for indoor piping, transportation, and light structural applications due to their mechanical qualities.
