Copper Nickel Instrumentation Tubing is mainly made up of 90% copper and 10% nickel (C70600) or 70% copper and 30% nickel (C71500), with small amounts of iron and manganese added to boost strength and corrosion resistance. These alloys boast excellent mechanical properties, featuring tensile strengths that range from 275–520 MPa, along with good elongation and toughness. They show remarkable resistance to pitting, erosion, and stress corrosion in seawater and saline environments. Their high thermal conductivity, superb workability, and non-magnetic nature make them perfect for precision control systems and critical instrumentation in challenging conditions.
