Stainless Steel 316Ti Heat Exchanger Tubing is an austenitic stainless steel alloy with 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and about 0.5% titanium. Titanium provides stability of the material at high temperatures by avoiding sensitization. The tubing possesses superior resistance against chloride-induced crevice corrosion and pitting, as well as superior mechanical strength. It exhibits a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and very good formability and toughness at both low and elevated temperatures.
