They are resistant to corrosion as well as maintaining strength in oxidizing and reducing environments. The welded tubing is extensively tested non-destructively to verify structural integrity. They are ideal for pressure systems and maintain mechanical integrity under high mechanical loads, aggressive chemical exposure, and thermal cycling.
