Stainless Steel 347 and 347H Welded Tubing contains 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, and up to 0.45% niobium (columbium), with good high-temperature oxidation and intergranular corrosion resistance. Type 347H, containing a higher carbon content, has better creep strength at high temperatures. The tubing provides mechanical strength with a tensile strength of 515 MPa and yield strength of 205 MPa, and it is stable and reliable in hostile environments. Its excellent weldability and resistance to carbide precipitation make it suitable for applications like boilers, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
