Stainless Steel 316H Seamless Pipes contain 16–18% chromium, 10–14% nickel, 2–3% molybdenum, and increased carbon content (0.04–0.10%), which improves strength at high temperatures. These pipes have very good mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of at least 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and decent elongation for ductility. Molybdenum content provides better pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, with increased carbon providing more creep resistance and better high-temperature performance to make 316H best for high-temperature and pressure-demanding conditions.
