Stainless Steel 310 and 310S ERW Pipes are produced and supplied by Liam Pipes & Tubes, which are suitable for pressure and structure applications at high temperatures. SS 310 provides excellent oxidation and creep resistance, while SS 310S, with lower carbon content, improves weldability and reduces sensitization during welding. These pipes are manufactured in Houston, USA, using ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) technology, offering consistency, strength, and dimensional control. Conforming to ASTM A312, they are used in flue gas systems, thermal processing units, and heat exchanger piping. Our 310/310S ERW pipes provide consistent performance in varying temperatures and mildly corrosive environments.
310/310S contains 24–26% Cr, 19–22% Ni; 310 contains ≤0.25% C, 310S ≤0.08%. Both have tensile strength of ~515 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, and ~40% elongation. 310 is used when creep strength is a consideration, while 310S provides better weldability. These ERW pipes are resistant to oxidation up to 1100°C. ERW process provides smooth welds and precise wall thickness for repeated fluid transportation. Such pipes are dependable in moderate mechanical load thermal environments, where seamless piping may not be necessary but high-temperature resistance is needed.

310/310S ERW Pipes can be found extensively in petrochemical reformers, exhaust manifolds, heat exchangers, and hot air ducts. They are ideal for use in combustion systems, flue gas piping, radiant tubes, and thermal insulation barriers. 310S is ideal in welding-intensive applications such as ducting systems and boiler piping, while 310 adds creep resistance for parts that are exposed to extended heat. Their oxidation and sulfidation resistance makes them ideal for incinerators, kilns, and burners. These pipes provide a cost vs. performance balance in high-temperature services with moderate corrosive exposure.
