Stainless Steel 904L Welded Tubing consists of around 20–23% Chromium, 25–28% Nickel, 4–5% Molybdenum, and around 1.5% Copper, which increases its corrosion resistance in hostile, acidic, and chloride-contaminated environments. It has tensile strength of 520 MPa and yield strength of 240 MPa with good formability and weldability. The copper addition enhances pitting and crevice corrosion resistance, particularly in sulfuric and phosphoric acid environments. These mechanical and chemical properties render 904L tubing suitable for long-term, high-performance application in harsh corrosive and demanding industrial environments.
