Nickel Alloy 201 Tubing is an alloy of nickel with low carbon (0.02% max). It also has great mechanical properties with tensile strength of 380 Mpa, yield strength 103 Mpa, and elongation of 40 percent. Nickel 201, most notably in reducing and alkaline conditions offers exceptional resistance to corrosion and is very resistant to such acids as sulfuric and hydrochloric. These strengths are that it has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, good ductility and it is resistant to the oxidation that happens with high temperatures, which has made it a recommended chemical processing, food handling and in heat exchangers.
