Approximately 1.7–2.4% chromium and 0.05–0.10% molybdenum are present in Alloy Steel T23 Tubing, a low-alloy ferritic steel with trace amounts of vanadium, niobium, and tungsten. T23 tubing has an elongation of 20%, a yield strength of 400 MPa, and a minimum tensile strength of about 510 MPa.
